Expensive Electricity: Hundreds protest against ‘overbilling’

FAISALABAD: Hundreds of citizens held a protest demonstration against the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) on Saturday. People from Shadab Colony, Lakkar Mandi, Nasir Colony, Punj Pir locality, Jhang Road and its adjacent localities blocked the Jhang-Faisalabad Road by staging a sit-in. Talking to reporters, Akbar Ali, one of the protesters, said that Fesco had sent incorrect bills to consumers.
