The dreaded dengue virus has now infected a hundred people in Swat as eight more patients were reported on Saturday. According to Roshan Ali, the focal person for dengue at Saidu Teaching Hospital, Bakht Rawan, 32, from Makan Bagh; Ruqaiyya, 16, from College Colony, Saidu Sharif; Sumaiya, 17, from Dadahara; Farahana, 20, from Saidu Sharif; Ambreen, 30, from Faizabad; Bakht Sahiba, 50; Zahida, 30; and Zohra, 12—all residents of Sethi Mohallah—tested positive for dengue. “The patients were admitted to the dengue unit.
