KMC hospital charges: BIT appeals against proposal
Proposed raise in the charges will make it impossible for the poor to avail medical treatment from the KMC hospitals
KARACHI:
Baloch Ittehad Tehreek (BIT) has appealed to the government to take notice of a proposal to raise the charges for services and tests in hospitals being run by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
The proposed raise in the charges will make it impossible for the poor to avail medical treatment from the KMC hospitals, which is tantamount to depriving the poor of basic facilities, said BIT chairperson Abid Hussain Brohi, in a statement issued on Friday.
