Domestic problems: Woman hangs herself
Depressed, the woman committed suicide.
HARIPUR:
A woman committed suicide over domestic issues in a village of Haripur on Thursday. Muhammad Ashraf, a resident of Pharari village, told the police his daughter Sobia, 21, married Abdul Waheed, a resident of the same village, a year ago. He added that since then, Sobia’s in-laws and husband would physically assault her for one reason or another. To escape the violence, Ashraf said his daughter came back to his house around eight months ago but no one from her in-laws’ house ever came to get her back. Depressed, the woman committed suicide.
