Tragic: Two killed in road accident
The police have registered a case against the truck driver, who escaped from the site.
RAWALPINDI:
Two men were killed in a road accident near Soan on Wednesday morning, said a police official. Muhammad Akbar, 22 and Moheed Taj, 34, lost their lives when a dumper hit their motorcycle. The deceased were on their way to Rawalpindi on a motorcycle, bearing registration QQ-56, at Soan near Sihala when a speeding dumper bearing registration DK-777 hit their motorcycle. The two died on the spot. The deceased were shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences from where their bodies were handed over to their family members after postmortems. The police said the deceased hailed from Khanewal and worked as labourers. The police have registered a case against the truck driver, who escaped from the site.
