Going green: 40,000 saplings to be planted in cantt
Rawalpindi Cantonment Executive Officer Faheem Zafar Khan said the campaign will continue till August 31.

As part of a recently launched tree plantation drive, 40,000 saplings would be planted in Rawalpindi’s cantonment areas.
Special stalls have been set up in RCB office, Shah Baloot Park, Roomi Park and Gawalmandi Park and citizens are being provided saplings free of cost. Khan said teams had been constituted to plant saplings of different kinds of fruits, flowers and shady trees at open places, and along roads and public parks to make the surroundings clean and green.
