Free again: Five PTI workers released from jail

Five workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) were released from Faisalabad Central Jail late on Monday

FAISALABAD: Five workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) were released from Faisalabad Central Jail late on Monday. Akhtar Ali, a spokesman of the Prisons Department, told to The Express Tribune that the PTI workers had been detained on the orders of District Coordination Officer (DCO) Faisalabad Noorul Amin Mengal. The DCO had now withdrawn the detention orders, he said. Therefore, he said, the detained workers Saqib Raza, Rafiq Haidar, Asghar Ali, Naveed Iftikhar and Munawwar Hussain had been released from the jail.
