Double tap: Two blasts damage BHU in Mardan
A search operation was launched in the area, but no arrest was made until the filing of this report.

Low-intensity explosions outside a basic health unit (BHU) caused partial damage to the centre in Par Hoti, Mardan early Tuesday morning. Par Hoti SHO Murad Khan said two explosions occurred within 25 minutes of each other outside a BHU in Shago Pul. However, he added, no human loss was reported in the incidents. Another police official said the first explosion occurred around 8:10am, after which police and Rescue 1122 officials rushed to the site to cordon it off. The second explosion damaged a Rescue 1122 vehicle that had been parked outside the BHU. The official added the windows of adjacent buildings were also smashed by the impact of the explosions. At least two kilogrammes of explosives had been used in the explosive devices. The SHO said an FIR has been registered against unidentified militants.
