Democracy: PTI has no welfare plan says minister

The government has been utilising all-out resources to provide basic amenities of life to people.

LAHORE: Excise and Taxation Minister Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman said on Sunday the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) had no practical programme for the welfare of people. Had the party had a workable policy, it would have implemented it in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the minister told party workers. “People cannot be lured by tempting slogans,” he said. Rehman said the government would continue to work for the supremacy of the Constitution, law and democratic institutions.
