Uaf Convocation; Governor to preside over ceremony

Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will preside over the University of Agriculture Faisalabad’s (UAF)

FAISALABAD: Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will preside over the University of Agriculture Faisalabad’s (UAF) 21st convocation on August 18 (Monday). More than 2,900 graduates, including 81 PhDs, will be given degrees and medals. The governor will also inaugurate the UAF main gate that has been redesigned. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan reviewed the arrangements for the convocation on Saturday. At the event, honorary degrees will also be awarded to Sartaj Aziz, the adviser to prime minister on national security and foreign affairs; Shamsul Mulk, the former Wapda chairman; and Dr Manohar Singh and Dr MS Swaminathan, the former Indian Election Commission chiefs.
