Shabbir continues atop Sindh Open leaderboard
Islamabad golfer leads Safdar by five shots on day two.

Islamabad’s Shabbir Iqbal maintained his impressive run and stayed on top of the pros leaderboard after the second round of the Sindh Open Golf Championship, recording a four-under-par 68 at the Arabian Sea Country Club (ASCC) on Saturday.
Iqbal rolled in no less than five birdies, and finished with an aggregate of seven-under-par 137 to lead by five shots from his nearest challenger.
Gujranwala’s Talented Muhammad Safdar, who shot par-score 72 on Friday, recorded a two-under-par 70 to surge to the second place with an aggregate of two-under-par 142.
Apart from Shabbir and Safdar, the other top performers of the day included Imdad Hussain, Matloob Hussain, Nisar Hussain, Muhammad Ashfaque and Imdad Hussain who all finished with a two-day aggregate of 143 one-under-par.
Title defender Muhamad Siddique is placed on 28, who shot seven-over-par 79 on day-one and par-score on day-two.
