Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri are both promoting violence in the country, said General Secretary JUI-F Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri while talking to Radio Pakistan, adding that it is wrong to call for a strike on Independence Day.
The JUI-F general secretary also termed Imran as an inexperienced politician.
Earlier in the day, a Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Pakistan delegation - comprising Pir Ijaz Ahmed Hashmi, Shah Muhammad Owais Noorani, Qazi Zawar Bahadur, Muhammad Fayaz Khan and Kashif Randhawa – called on prime minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM house, during which Noorani said, “Our forefather was one of the founders of the 1973 Constitution and we want that the sanctity of the Constitution to be upheld."
"The supremacy of the constitution should be preserved.”
