Political stand-off: ‘PAT, PTI won’t come to power’
He urged PML-N workers to foil every attempt to derail democracy.

Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Sher Ali Gorchani said on Tuesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) would not come to power even if mid-term elections were held. Gorchani was speaking to journalists in Rajanpur. He said the PML-N did not want Pakistan to become a one-party state. Gorchani said he would quit politics if the PAT won a single seat in the local government elections. He urged PML-N workers to foil every attempt to derail democracy.
