A committee should be formed to fix an official price for a cup of tea, said Deputy Commissioner Syed Zaheerul Islam on Monday. He has formed a committee for the purpose and directed Assistant Commissioner Mumtaz Ahmad to submit a report in this regard within a week. The committee comprises Additional Assistant Commissioners Fawad Ahmad, Mohammad Shoaib; representatives of consumers association Malik Ikram, Hafeezur Rehman Kiyani; and president secretaries of the tea association. The committee has been formed to present a practical analysis and give recommendations for the price.
