No guns recovered: 110 Marri tribesmen picked up in Quetta
A senior official of Balochistan government says raid was part of security plan
QUETTA:
Security forces and police have arrested 110 suspects during a search operation in Marri camp near Shalkot, an outskirt of Quetta, on Sunday. “Around 110 suspects have been arrested and shifted to undisclosed locations for questioning,” a police officer told The Express Tribune. Police said no arms and ammunitions were recovered during the raids. A senior official of Balochistan government said the raid was part of security plan. “Security has been increased to maintain law and order on Independence Day,” The arrested people are said to be of Marri tribe.
