Marching on: Over 37,000 registered from the city

PTI members of the provincial and national assemblies also took part in the convention.

PESHAWAR:


Over 37,000 people from the city have registered for the Azadi March thus far, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Peshawar president Yaseen Khalil. In total, 60,000 residents of Peshawar are expected to reach the federal capital on August 14.


Addressing a PTI workers’ convention at Nishtar Hall, Khalil said August 14 will be the last day for imperialism and people were anxious to leave for the federal capital.

Besides Khalil, PTI members of the provincial and national assemblies also took part in the convention.
