Police on Sunday arrested Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers from different parts of Punjab as they make their way to Lahore to observe the Youm-e-Shuhuda, Express News reported.
Many supporters were also placed under house arrest.
Around 73 supporters from Jhang, 45 from Chiniot, 27 from Toba Tek Singh, 26 from Mianwali and more than 100 from Sargodha were arrested.
Forty-five PAT supporters from Khushaab were placed under house arrest.
Police have also started blocking roads in Gujranwala with containers despite orders to end all blockades in the province.
