LAHORE:

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) Punjab leaders on Saturday filed a petition in Lahore High Court against arrest of party workers, fuel shortage and road barricades in Lahore.

PTI Punjab president Ejaz Chaudhary filed the petition saying the government was creating hurdles for PTI activists who wanted to participate in its Azadi March.

He said many party workers had been detained by police.

He said petrol pumps had been closed to force citizens to stay at home. He said shipping containers had been put on roads. The petitioner requested the court to direct the government to remove the barriers, release the arrested workers and open the petrol pumps.
