LAHORE:
Rana Asadullah Khan, a former Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) secretary, has sent a legal notice to Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri for levelling allegations against him.
Khan, brother of Law Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, denied Qadri’s claim that he had been a legal adviser to the Parks and Horticulture Authority and was drawing Rs1 million a month.
Khan said he had been working as legal adviser for the Tourism Development Corporation of the Punjab for Rs40,000 a month.
The notice said damages for Rs1 billion would be filed against Qadri if he did not apologise for misleading the public.
