ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali on Thursday informed the Senate Standing Committee on Water and Power that circular debt in the energy sector has again crossed over Rs250 billion. Out of the total circular debt, the federal and provincial governments owe Rs129 billion as power dues, the minister told the committee which met here with Senator Nisar Muhammad in the chair.
