LAHORE:

A petition was moved at Lahore High Court on Thursday against impounding of motorbikes by police, apparently to stop the youth from participating in Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf’s August 14 long march.

PTI Lawyers’ Wing Vice President Jawad Mobeen moved the petition.

He said police had impounded 25,000 motorbikes of PTI workers in Lahore and other districts on the direction of the chief minister.

The petitioner requested the court to stop the police from impounding motorbikes. Chief Justice Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmed will hear the case on Friday (today).
