Food minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has appealed to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leaders to review their ‘Azadi March’ decision in view of the given situation in the country.
Talking to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers on Thursday, he said that there is no denial to the fact that rallies and marches are part of democracy. However, he added, political leadership should take into account the prevailing situation in the country.
The minister said the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz-led government ought to address the grievances of all political parties. “We must realise that the PTI is also a stakeholder in the existing political system,” said Dahar.
