Azadi March: PTI sets up registration camp
PTI leader Neelum Asharf inaugurated the camp at Defence Mor.
LAHORE:
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday set up a camp to register those willing to participate in the party’s proposed Azadi March on August 14.
PTI leader Neelum Asharf inaugurated the camp at Defence Mor.
Lahore’s chapter president Abdul Aleem Khan said that both working class people and businessmen would attend the march.
He said that people who had never attended a political gathering had also expressed their eagerness to join the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s rally.
He said the Azadi March would end with the ouster of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz led government.
Provincial Assembly Member Aslam Iqbal told the media that the Azadi March would receive a huge public response. He said that the rulers had made it difficult for people to lead a decent life.
Price hike and energy crisis were the result of bad governance, he said.
