Balochistan development: Steps to improve infrastructure

Balochistan Information Minister Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal said on Tuesday that the coalition government is taking all possible steps to provide high-quality education and medical facilities to people. Speaking to Radio Pakistan, he said that work on the Dadu-Khuzdar transmission line is in its final stages and work on the Chashma-Zhob transmission line will commence soon. Raheem Ziaratwal said the Mangi Dam will be constructed at a cost of Rs1 billion during the current financial year to overcome the water shortage in Quetta. Restoration work has also been started on the Sibi-Harnai railway track.
