Nawaz holds consultative meeting to discuss PTI's Azadi march
Security arrangements in the capital said to be the focus of the meeting

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is holding a consultative meeting with senior members of his party, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, to discuss Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) ‘Azadi’ march and Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s 'Inqilabi' march, Express News reported on Monday.
The meeting will reportedly discuss security arrangements to prepare for the marches, as well as actions to be taken once the marches reach the capital.
Further, referring to reports that PTI MNAs have handed over their resignations to PTI chief Imran Khan, Nawaz said PTI should complete its term in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Abbasi are present at the meeting along with other senior party leaders.
On Sunday, in an interview with Radio Pakistan, Nawaz said that his government does not face any threat from any protest or long march. Further, the PM said he is ready to listen to the opposition and remove its grievances, whether they sit with him before or after the long march.
