Mashood said that the government is likely to take action within the next three days.
Speaking to the media at the Hockey Stadium in Lahore, the Punjab law minister remarked that Qadri is the only politicians in the country who does not have any representation in the national as well as provincial assemblies.
Critisising the PAT chief, the provincial law minister questioned how someone who has no parliamentary representation can claim to be the representative of the citizens and conspire to topple a democratic system.
He also alleged that the PAT chief travels in bullet-proof cars which are worth millions of rupees and paid for with taxpayers money.
Mashhood further claimed that Qadri advised his supporters to take the lives of 15 policemen to avenge the deaths of 15 party workers.
The Punjab law minister further said that the public should decide the state of Qadri's mental condition.
Ousting govt not democratic
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Central Secretary General Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said on Monday that if there is ever a revolution in the country, it will be led by the army, not Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri or Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.
Criticising Imran and Qadri for their statements against the government, Haideri told the media in Karachi that if the party chiefs believe in democracy and the constitution, they should use constitutional methods to achieve their goals.

In response to Qadri's claim that the current government would not remain in power beyond August, Haideri said "considering ousting the current government is not a democratic way of thinking."
Implicitly speaking about Imran's allegations of rigging in the May 11, 2013 elections, Haideri stated that Imran should wait for four years to run in elections again.
"You can only rule the country through an election," he stated.

@nadim mughal: Yes he is a Canadian citizen. In USA, tax returns are first thing , which every politicians has to release. There are no exceptions. Even Ex president Bush or Oboma had to release their tax returns before the elections.Mr Qadri must do the same thing. If he does not then he is corrupt religious politician.
@Fawad: It is not too late to raise this issue now. He is in the country and healthy and alive . He can be tried in the court of law because of " money laundering". Let the govt prove the charges OR let him prove innocent. I have been asking him for the last three months that he must release his tax returns for the last ten yrs. so far nothing has been released. In my opinion, he is corrupt religious politician till he releases his tax returns. By releasing, his tax returns, he can prove other wise.
PML(N) is running out of brainpower if they ever had any. Why are they asking for tax and such from a 'Canadian' citizen if he is indeed one?
I wonder how these comments are made while there is power cuts exceeding 18 hours to 24 hours in Pakistan. Anyway I want to know where from Qadri learn about revolution. Revolutions will not happen by religious bigot like Qadri nor political opportunist like Imran Khan. The Law Minister has no buisness to go public about his activities; he should be addressing the judiciary and the courts. Mr Qadri could go to high court to seek injunctions against the Government and the military chief if he feels being apprehended to deny him freedom of movement and expression.

Why not build a case for lawlessness and causing instability in the country?? Both TUQ & his junior - Imran Khan should be arrested under MPO (Maintenance of Public Order). Time of this Gullu Butt govt is up. Apart from all this character assassination attempt by PML (N) thugs and its paid media anchors I think Dr Qadri is the only leader who has substance in his argument and has been very clear from the onset. I fully support his call for Change of the system and do a full clean up before any quick re-election.

There are 71 cases pending against NS in NAB since 80s yet no hope for justice because PMLN has excellent history to abuse the system.
@Blithe: Charity begins at home. If PMLN goes about implementing merit, competence, ability, respect of constitution etc etc, nearly all of their ministers will either be in jail or deserve to be sacked. The recent case of the absconding PMLN MPA is a prime example of PMLN's double standards.

I've long maintained that the state should be strong against those trying to subvert the constitution - this applies to both Qadari and Mushartaf.
The state needs to be strong and make an example out of these individuals.
