PTI long march: ‘75,000 employees to march on capital’

Contract employees from Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh participated in the protest.

MNA Jamshed Dasti on Sunday said that he would lead more than 75,000 employees hired on contractual basis towards Islamabad to participate in the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) upcoming long march.


He was talking to reporters at a protest demonstration by employees hired on contractual basis and the civil society in Multan.


“I will gather 75,000 government employees to participate in the march,” he said.  “More than 23 labour unions of government departments have contacted me. More than 50,000 of their members want to join the long march,” he said.


Contract employees from Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh participated in the protest.
