Shot dead: Two men killed

A case has been registered against the accused.

Police said two people were murdered on Sunday in separate incidents.



Officials said Noor Muhammad Araien, a resident of Moza Subgatullah, had recently sold a 10-marla plot to Ghulam Fareed. Police said Araien’s nephew, Ghulam Qadeer had the power of attorney of the plot. Officials said an armed altercation took place between Qadeer and Fareed at near the plot during which Muhammad Sabir was killed and several people were injured. A police team reached the scene and sent the body to a hospital for autopsy. The injured were taken to a hospital. Separately, two armed men killed Mukhtar Hussain, a resident of Alipur, late on Saturday.

Police said the accused were identified as Ameer Baksh and Raheem Baksh. The men forcibly entered the victim’s house and shot him dead. Both were relatives of Hussain’s wife, Kausar Bibi. Hussain and Bibi had tied the knot in court a few days earlier. A case has been registered against the accused.
