ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have arrested five suspects in possession of illegal weapons, drugs and stolen valuables in different localities. The police seized three pistols with ammunition and mobile phones. Aabpara police nabbed a suspect Zeeshan Ali during a patrol and seized a mobile phone worth Rs40,000. Bani Gala police arrested Muhammad Akram in possession of 130 gram hashish. Industrial Area police, on a tip-off, recovered a 30-bore pistol with ammunition, while Koral police held two suspects Muhammad Ghayur and Safeer Husain in possession of a 30-bore pistol and ammunition. The police have registered cases against the suspects. Meanwhile, Rawalpindi Police held 17 suspects including 10 gamblers in raids in various areas. The police also recovered illegal weapons, illicit drugs from their possession.
