Saqi Alam Abro, a Sindhi drama actor and sketch artist, passed away on Friday.

Saqi Alam Abro, a Sindhi drama actor and sketch artist, passed away on Friday. He was 57 years old. Abro became bed-ridden seven months ago after a road accident that fractured his arms and legs. According to his wife, Safia Abro, they could not afford private healthcare due to financial constraints. Abro was laid to rest in the Sindh University’s graveyard in Jamshoro district. Abro played different roles in radio, stage and television dramas. He rose to fame through Jungle and Natak Rang dramas of the PTV network. He was also a well-known sketch artist.
