LAHORE:
Police said on Thursday that four intoxicated men had knifed an advocate in Green Town on Eid after he urged them to abstain from eve teasing.
The victim, a resident of Green Town, was identified as Nauman while the culprits have been identified as Bilal, Wahid, Naveed and Usman.
The men were teasing women near Nauman’s residence when he told them off. After exchanging harsh words, the culprits stabbed the advocate and fled from the scene.
Police sent the injured man to a hospital.
