Pakistan lose Norway Cup quarters
Street Child World Cup team suffers 4-0 defeat against Lyn FC.

The Pakistan Street Child World Cup team lost to Lyn FC 4-0 in the Norway Cup quarter-finals on Thursday, but won the hearts of the audience.
The team had earlier played their pre-quarterfinal match Thursday morning, defeating KFUM-KAM FC Oslo 1-0 with a goal from Ayaz Anwar to reach the last-eight.
However, they succumbed to defeat to one of the best clubs in the tournament, which featured 1,400 teams from all over the world, but mostly Europe.
“The difference between a child from a poor country and a developed country was very visible today [Thursday],” team manager Itfan Maqbool told The Express Tribune.
“It was clearly evident in this match. Our children are obviously not as strong in built as the Europeans, who are very well taken care of, especially in terms of their diet.
“But we are proud. The players are a little upset, but we are cheering them up and so is the entire Norwegian-Pakistani community.”
