Germany announces one million Euros for IDPs
WHO provides medicines worth $250,000 for IDPs, while Punjab govt announces to build 2,000 houses.

Germany on Thursday announced one million Euros for IDPs in Pakistan through the World Food Programme (WFP), Radio Pakistan reported.
In a statement, the German embassy in Islamabad said that the objective of this assistance was to ensure food security and nutrition for the internally displaced persons of North Waziristan where the army is conducting Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The grant would enable WFP to provide timely and sustained relief food assistance to the IDPs.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has provided medicines worth $250,000 for the IDPs.
Federal Minister for State and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt Gen Abdul Qadir Baloch had said on July 21 that the ministry was working to include help from UN agencies and NGOs in the relief efforts.
He was chairing a meeting of international NGOs and UN relief agencies at the Ministry of States and Frontier Regions in Islamabad.
A day before this meeting, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the ruling party in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, had made a strong statement for allowing national and international non-governmental organisations to take part in relief activities for the displaced population of North Waziristan.
Punjab government to build houses in N Waziristan
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, during his visit to an IDP camp in Bannu on Eid, announced the construction of 2,000 houses, a model university, a hospital and a school in North Waziristan.
Governor Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan Abbasi and Information Minister Pervez Rashid accompanied Shahbaz on the visit.
The chief minister praised the sacrifices of the IDPs for the national cause and promised to not leave them alone in this difficult time and to help them until they are settled in their towns and villages.
He added that with the support of the people of North Waziristan, the government and the army will soon defeat the militants.
