Two Rangers troops were killed in a suspected targeted attack

Two Rangers troops were killed in a suspected targeted attack on the outskirts of Karachi on Sunday, a senior police official said. A six-year-old girl was also killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on the paramilitary soldiers, he added. The incident took place in Karachi’s Landhi locality, within the limits of Quaidabad police station. According to District East Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Munir Shaikh, the two Rangers officials were standing at an ice depot when they were approached by two armed men dressed as security guards.
