Eid discount: Railways reduces fares by 30%

Pakistan Railways (PR) has reduced fares by 30 per cent for the first two days of Eidul Fitr on all classes of all trains. According to a Pakistan Railways notification issued here on Sunday, the decision was taken under the direction of Minister for Railway Khawaja Saad Rafique to facilitate passengers. The number of passengers using railways greatly increase right before and during the Eid holidays as people try to go back to their homes to spend the religious occasion with their families.
