Judo: Shah Hussain earns Pakistan's first medal at Commonwealth Games 2014

Shah Hussain Shah lost to Scotland's Euan Burton in the men's 100kg judo competition.

GLASGOW: Shah Hussain Shah won Pakistan’s solitary medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Saturday.

Shah lost to Scotland’s Euan Burton in the men’s 100kg judo completion, thereby securing the silver medal.

The 21 year old from London had beaten veteran New Zealander Tim Slyfield in the semi-final to progress into the final. Slyfield had gone on to win the bronze.

Up against Burton, 35, Shah lost 110-0.

@Mir: You have to dissect and find faults in a good comment too just because it was indian. Unbelievable. What he meant was instead extremism,terrorism and radicalism, war mongering, The country is making name for its nation around the world for sports. Commendable. And that's the news they would always like to hear.
