GLASGOW: Shah Hussain Shah won Pakistan’s solitary medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Saturday.
Shah lost to Scotland’s Euan Burton in the men’s 100kg judo completion, thereby securing the silver medal.
The 21 year old from London had beaten veteran New Zealander Tim Slyfield in the semi-final to progress into the final. Slyfield had gone on to win the bronze.
Up against Burton, 35, Shah lost 110-0.

Doesn't matter buddy, Winning and loosing are a part of any sport and I am sure you will have another chance. Being on that podium with the finest in business is a testimony to your determination and hardwork and no one can take that away from you. In a combat sport like Judo or boxing, the distinction between gold and silver is not always as clear as other sports; In other words it may be purely based on the 'opinion of majority'. Anyway, Weldone and great work, this is what (us) Indians wish to see coming out of Pakistan.
