Prior Preparation: PRCs holds wokshop for disaster training

KARACHI:
The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh concluded a workshop for volunteers and staff on Friday, training them on how to deal with natural calamities and save lives. In the workshop, 20 people from all over the province such as Karachi, Badin, Dadu, Sanghar and Thatta participated to receive the training from July 21 to July 25 at the Beach Luxury Hotel. Speaking on the occasion, the PRCS’s provincial secretary Kunwar Waseem said that the Branch Disaster Response Team staff performs its duties in all kinds of emergency and disasters. He told the members to remain prepared and vigilant at all times since emergencies and disasters can take strike anytime and they would be required to deal with the situation.
