Gun attacks Five dead in shooting incidents

Initial investigation revealed the shooting occurred over a land dispute.

Personal disputes claimed five lives in separate incidents in Swabi and Kohat districts on Friday. According to Chota Lahor police, Taj Bibi, a resident of Nabi village in Swabi, said she was working in the fields when she heard gunfire from her house. Taj rushed home to find her husband Altaf and father-in-law Taj Muhammad lying lifeless. She filed a case against Sajawal, Sawar Khan and Sadia Rasheed, accusing them of murdering her family members. However, Sadia Rasheed also filed a case with the police, stating Taj and Altaf had earlier barged into her house and killed her husband. Police registered both cases. Separately, two people were killed and two others were injured in a shoot-out in Kohat Cantonment. Amanullah filed a case with the police stating he was heading to his fields with his relatives when Fazal Noor, Saif and Taimur opened fire, killing Junaid Khan and Hanifullah, while Aman and Nasiruddin sustained severe injuries. Initial investigation revealed the shooting occurred over a land dispute.
