Going home: 7 runaway children returned to families

Faisalabad Child Protection and Welfare Bureau hands over seven children who had run away from home to their families.

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) on Thursday handed over seven children who had run away from home to their families.

Child Protection Officer Syed Abid Naqvi told newsmen the CPWB teams had rescued them from various markets. He said the children were found begging, picking items from garbage heaps and sometimes trading drugs. He said there were 30 children at the CPWB where they were being provided education and vocational training.
