Taking action: Suspected robber killed in encounter
Police recover pistol, snatched money and goods from robber's custody.
KARACHI:
The Quaidabad police killed a suspected robber in an encounter at al Karam bus stop near Dawood Chowrangi of Landhi on Thursday. Quaidabad SHO Amanullah Marwat said that the two robbers snatched a mobile phone, a laptop and cash from a man at the stop and were fleeing when the police reached the spot. The robbers riding a motorcycle opened fire at them. The police fired back when one of the robbers fell from the motorcycle and took shelter in a nearby house. He continued to fire at the police and was killed when the law enforcers retaliated. The police recovered a pistol and snatched money and goods from his custody.
