Home secretary has ordered inquiry into police officers and officials’ allegedly involved in extortion
KARACHI:
Home secretary Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi has ordered inquiry into police officers and officials’ allegedly involved in extortion and high-handedness on transporters and passengers on the Hub River Road. He has taken notice of the complaints that police officials were involved in taking extortions, looting and harassing transporters at Hub River Road within the limits of the Mochko police station. Abbasi has directed South zone DIG to conduct a fair and impartial inquiry into the matter, take legal action and submit report within 10 days.
