High alert: Security for Youm-i-Ali (RA) reviewed

BAHAWALPUR: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Roy Muhammad Tahir reviewed the security arrangements for Hazrat Ali’s (RA) martyrdom day on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Tahir said policemen should remain vigilant to deal with any threat. Rahim Yar Khan DPO Sohail Zafar Chattha and City Circle DSP Ashfaq Ahmad Gujjar accompanied the RPO. The officials visited the Haidri Trust and the procession routes. The DPO briefed the RPO about the arrangements. The RPO urged the officials to utilise all resources at their disposal to provide foolproof security for the rally. The police officers also visited the Ramazan Bazaars in Rahim Yar Khan and inspected the prices, quality and the weights.
