City Police Officer told journalists that the district police would soon launch a targeted operation across Faisalabad
FAISALABAD:
City Police Officer Haider Ashraf on Sunday told journalists that the district police would soon launch a targeted operation across Faisalabad against terrorism suspects. Talking to newsmen, he said that station house officers of all police stations in the district had been directed to take strict action against all members of banned outfits. He said that the SHOs had been directed to ensure implementation on the ban imposed on the use of loudspeakers, wall chalking and the distribution of hate material. The city police officer said that special police teams would be constituted to conduct targeted raids throughout the district in order to maintain tight security during Ramazan. He said because of Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan, police in all cities had been put on high alert. He said a comprehensive strategy had been chalked out to maintain law and order.
