Plea for attention: ‘Multan needs more health projects’

Pakistan Peoples Party South Punjab Secretary General Aamir Dogar on Sunday the government to allocate funds for health, education and hygiene projects.


Addressing a press conference, the PPP leader said Multan was not a big city but the existing communication infrastructure was enough to meet transport needs of citizens.

Dogar expressed concern over pending projects of health and education in Multan. He said Rs40 billion allocated for the Metro Bus 1should be utilized on health and education.

He said it was important for the government to address the missing facilities problem in schools.

He said most schools were empty because students found it unbearable to study in poor conditions. He said many schools did not have water for students or staff.

PPP district president Khalid Hanif Lodhi, city president Khursheed Khan, Khawaja Rizwan Alam, ex MPAs Dr Javed Siddique, Usman Bhatti and other PPP leaders were present.
