Advice shared: Baloch leaders react to PTI actions
Leaders of Balochistan's political parties urges Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to refrain from holding protest rallies.
QUETTA:
Leaders of several political parties in Balochistan have urged the leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to refrain from holding protest rallies and resolve the issue of recounting votes through the parliament’s electoral reforms committee. ANP MPA Zamaruk Khan Achakzai said such rallies would not be beneficial for the country due to the prevailing security situation. “The PTI has the right to object to electoral process, however the right forum to raise the issue is the Election Commission of Pakistan,” he added. Former minister and PPP leader Jan Ali Changezi stressed the need to create political harmony on the issues confronted by the country. “There is no need to agitate the issue through holding rallies as elements opposed to peace could create a law and order situation,” he added.
