Did you know? Official teaser of Khoobsurat released

The much-awaited Bollywood film Khoobsurat — The Royal Misfit, starring our very own Fawad Khan, is finally out with its teaser. The film is a Disney venture and a remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1980 hit film Khoobsurat, starring Rekha, Ashok Kumar and Rakesh Roshan in pivotal roles, according to the Times of India.

Khan, who will be playing the role Roshan played, will make his big Bollywood debut with the film opposite the stunning Sonam Kapoor. Sonam is playing Rekha’s role and can be seen in a fun avatar in the teaser. In the 20-second-long teaser, Sonam, who seems bright and flamboyant, loosens up poised and sober Fawad’s tie and plants a kiss on his cheek. The chemistry between the two looks great and this is one film we are really looking forward to.

The upcoming romantic comedy is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor and her father Anil Kapoor. The film also stars Kirron Kher, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ratna Pathak and Aditi Rao Hydari and is slated to release on September 19.
