Model Town: Rallies held to mark one month of clashes

The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Wednesday held protest rallies in several cities to protest non-registration of its complaint regarding the killing of its 14 workers. Nearly 80 people were injured in the June 17 violence also involving police.
The rallies were arranged a month after the clashes in front of the Minhajul Quran Secretariat.
In Lahore, the rally was organised on The Mall. A large number of PAT workers and delegations from the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), the Sunni Ittehad Council, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, the All Pakistan Muslim League and the Awami Muslim League participated.
