Erratic power outages continue in the garrison city despite tall promises by the government to reduce load-shedding during Ramazan.
Residents, while talking to The Express Tribune, say the government has failed to keep its promises of curbing power outages during iftaar and sehri times.
Muhammad Hafeez, a shopkeeper in Saddar, said hours-long daily load-shedding has affected his routine and business. Muhammad Zubair, a resident of Saddar, said that his neighbourhood has no electricity for 14-16 hours a day. He said the government has failed to overcome load-shedding and the only solution left is a “revolution”, as promised by Dr Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan. He, however, did not know how a regime change could end the huge energy shortfall in the country.
Zamurd Khan, a shopkeeper in Raja Bazaar, said the traders will take to streets if the government fails to bring down load-shedding hours.

Why Khawaja Asif and Abid Sher Ali are not made to work without electricity for 10/12 hours a day for a week. After that either they will come up with a solution to loadshedding or quit their ministries.
