Home alone: Abduction attempt foiled

Police said they had registered a case and were investigating.

BAHAWALPUR: Four people broke into a house in Rehman Colony, Rahim Yar Khan, on Saturday night allegedly to abduct a woman. She resisted and raised hue and cry upon which the men fled. Police said Kausar Bibi was alone at her house when four men forced entry into the house and attempted to abduct her. Kausar Bibi started screaming because of which neighbours gathered outside her house. She said that the men beat her up and then fled. Neighbours took her to a hospital for treatment. Police said they had registered a case and were investigating.
