Offended: Woman seeks case over husband’s second marriage
She requested the court to direct the SHO to register a case.

A court on Friday sought comments from the Manga Mandi station house officer (SHO) on a petition by a woman seeking registration of a case against her husband for marrying another woman without informing her.
Petitioner Munazza Shahin told the additional district and sessions judge she had married Muhammad Nazeer in 2012. She said Nazeer later married Sumaira bibi. She said Nazeer had declared himself unmarried in the second nikahnama. She said he had also not paid her dower. Shahin said she had gone to police but the SHO had refused to register a case against Nazeer. She requested the court to direct the SHO to register a case.
